PRISTA® HONING
PRISTA® HONING oils are formulated from a special selection of highly refined paraffinic-naphthenic type base oils of different density blended with a highly efficient additive package ensuring excellent lubricating properties, and oxidation stability and reliable wear and rust and corrosion protection. PRISTA® HONING oils are available in three performance grades depending on their viscosity and density: PRISTA® HONING, PRISTA® HONING P, PRISTA® HONING HQ & PRISTA® HONING D Extra .
APPLICATION
PRISTA® HONING and PRISTA® HONING P are used as lubricating and cooling media in various machining operations such as metal honing or glass grinding.PRISTA® HONING HQ is primarily recommended for glass grinding operations thanks to its low density.PRISTA® HONING D ExTRA is designated for use in hard steel grinding operations. This oil exhibits enhanced lubricating properties and provides better wear protection for both machined parts and machine tools and assemblies.
