Prista Oil Blending Plant Ruse, BulgariaPrista Oil Group is a holding structure. Its activity could be shared in two main core businesses – batteries (Monbat Company, listed on Sofia Stock Exchange) and lubricants, developed by Prista Oil Holding EAD and its foreign subsidiaries. The Holding includes also Dutch company Star Oil which is ne of the biggest traders of base oils of Mediterranean region. Over the last 14 years the company has developed business relations with partners in more than 20 countries within the region, as its market share in the separate countries ranging between 5% and 55%, It makes the company one of the biggest lubricants producers in East Europe.

Prista Oil’s production facilities are set up and developed following the state-of-the-art and innovative technologies as a result of company-own research and development activities, as well as with the cooperation of world leading companies in lubricants and chemical business, such as Chevron Global Lubricants, Ashland, ERGON Europe MEA, GreenChem etc. Prista Oil has its own blending plants in Bulgaria and Turkey where producing engine, transmission and industrial oils, greases, automotive fluids and car-care products.

Since June 2009 Prista Oil Holding EAD is the owner of Hungarian company Bogdany Petrol Kft. (main company in chemical industry in Hungary, specialized in production of grasses and emulsions)

At the end of August 2009 has been signed an agreement for partnership in producing, supplying and distribution of marine oils in the frame of Sealub Alliance between Gulf Oil Marine and Prista Oil Holding EAD.

Prista Oil Blending Plant - Ruse, BulgariaThe product portfolio is extended and developed in line with the market needs and in compliance with the latest requirements of the OEMs, ACEA and API. The products meets and even exceeds all applicable safety and environmental standards and their quality is well-known from the customers. Prista products are approved by more than 20 worldwide leading automotive and machine manufacturing companies, such as MB, Volvo, Opel, BMW, VW, Renault-Nissan, MAN, Cummins, ZF, VOITH, Allison, Siemens, etc. In the Spring of 2009, Prista Oil launched the production of AdBlue under the license agreement of one of the European leaders in AdBlue business - GreenChem B.V.. The production will be marketed both on the domestic and foreign markets.

In order to guarantee the needs of its production process and in order to optimize the costs related to the delivery of the main raw materials and to reduce the delivery terms of the finished products to the customers Prista Oil has developed its own excellent logistic structure, including 4 base oil storage terminals with capacity exceeding 52 000 m3.

The future development of the company is aimed at the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East. As regards to its technological improvement Prista Oil is scheduling to get in closer cooperation with its existing partners and to simultaneously create new partnerships with the leaders in the specific business fields.

• 2007 – Acquisition of majority stake in Verila Lubricants AD Bulgaria
• 2008 – License, manufacturing and distributorship agreement with GreenChem B.V.  for AdBlue
• 2008 – Distribution agreement with ERGON for Eastern Europe and Turkey
• 2008 – Distribution agreement with Chevron Global Lubricants for Texaco in Serbia
• 2008 – Record sales volumes of 82,000 metric tons
• 2009 – Distribution agreement with Chevron Global Lubricants for Texaco in Turkey
• 2009 – Acquisition of majority stake in Bogdany Petrol Kft. Hungary
• 2009 – Manufacturing and distribution agreement with Sealube Alliance for Black Sea region
• 2009 – Distribution agreement with Ashland for distribution of Valvoline products in 13 countries from the CEE region
