A NEW TECHNOLOGICAL CENTRE OPENED

Laboratory assistants, chemical engineers and engineers of PRISTA OIL HOLDING EAD are already at their new work places in the new Technological Centre housed in a multifunctional customized building located in the Lubricant blending plant in the town of Ruse. Its development is in conformity with the European requirements and the regulations of the national law concerning such activities and it ensures excellent conditions about the work of the staff of the Petroleum Products Testing Laboratory and the New Products and Standardization Unit of the company.

The new laboratory occupies an area of over 1000 m2. It is accommodated on two floors with total of 22 specialized premises. The selection of the laboratory equipment made by eng. Pavlinka Dimova – Head of the Petroleum Products Testing Laboratory, would arouse benevolent envy in every professional in that area. The complete new equipment was delivered by the German company Wessemann – a world leader in the manufacture of laboratory equipment.

  • Hoods equipped with aspiration constant volume system for removal of harmful emissions, toxic substances and prevention of the impact of electromagnetic fields.
  • Laboratory cabinets, tops and shelves with chemically resistant coverings ensuring their resistance and reliability, as well as enabling great convenience at work.

All precautions have been taken to prevent the impact of the factors /temperature, moisture, dust, noise, vibrations, electromagnetic fields, toxic substances/, which may affect the conditions of the environment in the Laboratory.

The main activities of the laboratory including physicochemical and classification tests of lubricants, control and analysis, which is carried out through classic analytical and modern instrumental methods, elemental analysis of oils - spectrometry in the visible and infrared part of the spectrum have been secured with modern and state-of-the-art laboratory equipment ensuring precise and accurate analyses. The pride of the laboratory is also the new plasma spectrometer ICP-AES and the UV spectrophotometer enabling precise analyses of liquid solutions. (used for the testing of AdBlue).
