Bogdany Petrol Ltd. is located in the northeast part of Hungary, in Nyirbogdany, within 50-60 km from three borders. (Ukraine, Romania, Slovakia)
Main activity is producing and turnover of special products based on crude oil.
The company has more than 100 types of products, witch are known practically 75 countries of the world.
The Bogdany Petrol Ltd has ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001:2004 certificates. The products are tested in accredited laboratory of factory.
Bogdany Petrol Kft. is an enterprise of the chemical industry in Hungary, specializing in the production of specialized products (below) based on raw material provision of mineral oils. The plant is located in the town of Nyírbogdány in the northern part of Hungary, near the border with Slovakia, Ukraine and Romania. It is the oldest plant in the Hungarian oil industry, founded in 1904. Then it became part of the Hungarian National Oil Company (MOL) in 1962 and was privatized by its management team in 2000. Its main products (about 100 different products) are realized by the company mainly in over 82 countries, with the most amounts in Central Europe, Russia and Ukraine, the Near East and Africa, sales in Asia and Latin and South America.
The main production product groups are:
* Vaseline - technical specifications, specifications used in cosmetics and pharmaceutics; * Emulsions - based on paraffin oil components such as powder-insulation coating for plasterboard manufacture and furniture industry
* Insulating gel in cables in the production of copper containing telephone cables, the same application for optical cables and high voltage conductors
* Industrial oils – for cold stretch, corrosion preventive, cleaning fluids, etc., as well as for the production of technical white oils.
* Specialized insulating paraffins with different applications in industry
